Bacon Egg Bread Recipe - Cooking Index
Medium 1 1/2 Lb Loaf | ||
3 | Eggs - plus (large) enough water to make 1 cup liquid, plus an additional | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Butter |
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Bread flour |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
6 slices | Bacon - cooked crisp, and crumbled | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Active dry yeast |
Place all ingredients in your machine in the order recommended by your machine's manufacturer. Select the Basic/White cycle and press start.
Comments: Use bacon fat in place of the butter for a more smoky taste.
