This Hearty Potato Garlic Bread is a soup lover's best friend. Excellent with creamy clam chowder on a rainy day. We also suggest you serve this bread with your next salmon or seafood salad sandwich. And, because it's a bread machine recipe, there's no kneading, rising or shaping and it takes minutes to prepare.

| 1 cup | 237ml | Water |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter or margarine |
| 2 cups | 474ml | Robin Hood Best For Bread |
| Homestyle white flour | ||
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Instant potato flakes |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Dried dill weed or chives - optional |
| 1 | Garlic clove - crushed | |
| (or substitute 1/4 tspn garlic powder) | ||
| 1 1/4 teaspoons | 6.3ml | Robin Hood/SAF Perfect Rise Gourmet Yeast |
Add ingredients to machine according to manufacturer's directions. Select WHITE cycle.
This recipe yields a 1 lb loaf.
