Grandma's Oatmeal Bread Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Boiling water |
2 1/2 tablespoons | 37ml | Margarine |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Honey |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dark unsulphured molasses |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Oats |
1 | Extra-large egg - lightly beaten | |
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Bread flour |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Yeast |
Measure all ingredients into machine according to manufacturer's directions. This is a very large loaf. The light setting is recommended.
