Dinner Rolls Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Egg - room temperature, | |
Plus enough water (80 degrees) to | ||
Equal 3/4 cup liquid | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon juice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Bread flour |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Active dry yeast |
Make sure all ingredients, except water, are at room temperature. Use a liquid measuring cup to measure the water-egg combination.
Follow the instructions for your particular brand of bread baking machine. Use "Dough" program.
Place dough on a lightly floured surface. Divide into 12 pieces and shape. Place on a greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until double in size.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes, or until done.
This recipe yields 12 rolls.
