Cinnamon Swirl Roll Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/8 cups | 266ml | Water |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Bread flour |
2/3 cup | 106g / 3.7oz | Raisins |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Yeast |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar |
Filling | ||
6 tablespoons | 90ml | Butter - melted |
1 1/3 tablespoons | 19ml | Cinnamon |
5 tablespoons | 75ml | Brown sugar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Walnuts - chopped |
Glaze | ||
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Powdered sugar |
3 teaspoons | 15ml | Milk |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Vanilla |
Use dough cycle in bread machine to prepare dough. Mix filling ingredients together.
Roll dough into rectangles; spread with filling, and roll jelly-roll style. Pinch seams closed. Place on greased baking sheet, cover and let rise about 30 to 45 mins.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and bread makes hollow sound when tapped.
Mix glaze ingredients until desired consistency. Pour over bread while still hot.
This recipe yields 1 loaf.
