Chocolate And Cherry Bread Recipe - Cooking Index
Large 1 1/2 Lb Loaf | ||
1/3 cup | 78ml | Half-and-half - plus |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Half-and-half |
2 | Eggs | |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Grated orange rind |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Bread flour |
2 1/2 teaspoons | 12ml | Yeast |
3/4 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Chopped semisweet chocolate |
4 oz | 113g | Dried cherries |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Orange juice |
Soak dried cherries in orange juice for 6 hours or overnight.
Place all the ingredients except cherry mixture and chocolate in the machine in order as directed by manufacturer. Program for basic white bread and press start.
After 33 minutes or when "beep" sounds, add the cherries with any remaining liquid and the chocolate.
This recipe yields 1 loaf.
