Tomato-Basil Salsa

This salsa is best made a few hours ahead so the flavors have a chance to develop.

Recipe Ingredients

3 lbs 1362g / 48ozRipe tomatoes - halved, seeded,
  And chopped
3/4 cup 109g / 3.8ozChopped fresh basil - (packed) - (packed)
3 tablespoons 45mlFresh lime juice
2   Garlic cloves - pressed
3/4 teaspoon 3.8mlGround cumin
3/4 teaspoon 3.8mlHot pepper sauce
1   Sugar

Recipe Instructions

Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.

This recipe yields about 4 1/2 cups.
