Crostini With Blue Cheese, Honey, And Hazelnuts Recipe - Cooking Index
These little toasts are nice before dinner or alongside a green salad.
Courses: Sauces, Starters and appetizers| 12 | Diagonal-cut baguette, 1/3"-thk | |
| 3 oz | 85g | Blue cheese - room temperature |
| = (such as Gorgonzola, Roquefort, or | ||
| Maytag blue) | ||
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Hazelnuts - toasted, husked, |
| And coarsely chopped | ||
| Honey - as needed |
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place baguette slices in single layer on baking sheet. Toast in oven until golden, about 8 minutes. (Can be made 4 hours ahead.)
Spread blue cheese on baguette slices. Sprinkle hazelnuts over each. Drizzle each slice lightly with honey.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
