Adobo Kang Kong Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Vinegar - cider |
4 | Garlic - crushed | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Black pepper |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Rock salt |
1 | Kang kong - (approximately) | |
1 | Onion - chopped (medium) | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Soy sauce - to taste |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Pork - chopped |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
Wash and drain kang kong tops (use okra or string beans as substitutes). Saute garlic, pepper, onion and pork until brown. Add water and simmer until meat is tender. Add kang kong and soy. Add vinegar when kang kong is cooked.
