Curried Smoked Turkey And Fruit Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
This refreshing dish is perfect for a luncheon and is a snap to prepare. You can purchase thick slices of smoked turkey at your local delicatessen.

3/4 lb | 340g / 11oz | Green seedless grapes - stemmed |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Cantaloupe - peeled, cubed (large) |
3 cups | 330g / 11oz | Sliced celery - (abt 4 stalks) |
6 | Green onions - sliced | |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Golden raisins |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Mayonnaise |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Plain yogurt |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Sour cream |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Curry powder |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
Curly lettuce leaves - for serving | ||
1 cup | 93g / 3.3oz | Sliced almonds - toasted |
Combine turkey, grapes, cantaloupe, celery, green onions and raisins in large bowl. Whisk mayonnaise, yogurt, sour cream and curry powder together in small bowl. Pour mayonnaise mixture over salad and toss well. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Line platter with lettuce leaves. Spoon salad atop lettuce. Sprinkle almonds over salad and serve.
This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
