Blackberry Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
This sauce accompanies "Ginger, Fig And Cranberry Semifreddo" (see recipe). It's also great drizzled over vanilla ice cream.

3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh lemon juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | To 2 brandy - (optional) |
Puree all ingredients in processor. Strain into medium bowl, pressing on solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Cover and refrigerate until cold. (Can be made 2 days ahead. Keep refrigerated.)
This recipe yields about 2 cups.
