Black Bean-Soy Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
This would also be good on broiled sea bass or red snapper fillets.
Courses: Sauces1/2 cup | 118ml | Soy sauce |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Asian fermented black beans - rinsed well, |
And drained | ||
1/4 cup | 59ml | Rice vinegar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Water |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Thinly-sliced pickled ginger - (packed) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped peeled fresh ginger |
3 | Garlic cloves - chopped | |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped green onions |
1/4 cup | 4g / 0.1oz | Chopped fresh cilantro |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sesame seeds |
Blend first 7 ingredients in processor until finely chopped. Stir in green onions, cilantro and sesame seeds. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before using.)
This recipe yields about 1 1/3 cups.
