Maine Crabmeat Breakfast Pie Recipe - Cooking Index

6 oz | 170g | Crabmeat |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Grated Swiss cheese |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Grated cheddar cheese |
8 cups | 1584g / 55oz | Eggs (large) |
2 cups | 474ml | Half-and-half |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Fresh bread crumbs |
Butter a 10-inch quiche pan. Beat the eggs. Mix all of the remaining ingredients together and add to the eggs.
Pour into the pan and bake at 350 degrees until set. Cut into pie-shaped pieces and served hot.
This recipe yields 8 servings. May be used for breakfast or as a main meal with salad.
