Asparagus Topped With Crab Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Fresh asparagus - par-boiled |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped green pepper |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped onion |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter |
2 cups | 474ml | Plain yogurt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Tarragon |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon juice |
12 oz | 340g | Crab meat |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Grated Parmesan cheese |
Place asparagus in a 1 1/2-quart shallow baking dish. In a frying pan saute the green pepper and onion in butter. In a mixing bowl combine yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, tarragon, and lemon juice. Add the green pepper, onion and crab meat.
Pour mixture over the asparagus and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake in a 400-degree oven for 30 minutes.
