Mint Bar Sesame Dressing Recipe - Cooking Index
This dressing has a tangy, sweet and sour flavor that is great on all kinds of salads from straight greens, to entree salads containing grilled beef, salmon and chicken. We also recommend using it as a marinade, or even as a sauce for cold Asian noodles.

1 cup | 237ml | Soy sauce |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Powdered ginger |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Red pepper |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Granulated garlic |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dijon mustard |
1 cup | 237ml | Rice vinegar |
1 cup | 237ml | Canola oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Sesame oil |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Sesame seeds |
In a food processor or blender, mix everything except the oil together, then drizzle in the oil and refrigerate. If the dressing is too thick, you can thin it with water.
