Jamaican Jerked Shrimp Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Large shrimp - peeled, deveined | |
Jerk Seasoning | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried thyme |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Curry powder |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Sugar |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Dried sage |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Cayenne |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Ground allspice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Paprika |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground cinnamon |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Canola oil |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground nutmeg |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Ground cloves |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic clove - minced (large) |
Combine the Jerk Seasoning in a large bowl. (Makes about 2 cups)
Toss the shrimp in the bowl to coat well. Then grill. Serve hot.
