Filet Mignon With Jack Daniel's Peppercorn Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Jack Daniel's whiskey |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
1 | Handful whole black peppercorns | |
6 | Filet mignons - (8 oz ea) | |
= (or New York strip steaks) |
Heat Jack Daniel's and brown sugar together in a skillet over medium heat. Add a handful of peppercorns and let simmer.
Meanwhile, grill steaks until they are about half done; transfer into the skillet and finish cooking in the sauce, which will give the steaks a nice glaze.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
