Filet Mignon With Jack Daniel's Peppercorn Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup 237mlJack Daniel's whiskey
1/2 cup 80g / 2.8ozBrown sugar
1   Handful whole black peppercorns
6   Filet mignons - (8 oz ea)
  = (or New York strip steaks)

Recipe Instructions

Heat Jack Daniel's and brown sugar together in a skillet over medium heat. Add a handful of peppercorns and let simmer.

Meanwhile, grill steaks until they are about half done; transfer into the skillet and finish cooking in the sauce, which will give the steaks a nice glaze.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
