Dr. Barbecue's Carolina Mustard Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 cup | 177ml | Yellow mustard |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Red wine vinegar |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Hot pepper sauce |
Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Heat to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 30 minutes. Let stand at room temperature one hour. Refrigerate unused sauce up to several weeks.
This recipe yields 1 3/4 cups.
