Lemon-Herb Rub Recipe - Cooking Index
A light and flavorful way to refresh seafood, chicken, or pork for the grill.
Courses: Sauces4 | Garlic cloves - minced (large) | |
3 teaspoons | 15ml | Grated lemon peel |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dried rosemary leaves - crushed |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried basil leaves - crushed |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried thyme leaves - crushed |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Coarsely-ground black pepper |
In a small bowl combine all ingredients. Rub immediately on fish, seafood, chicken, or pork; let food rest 15 minutes before grilling.
This recipe yields enough rub for 8 servings.
