Herb-Butter Sauce

An easy way to add great flavor to simple grilled fish or veggies. Put that summer herb garden to good use!

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozButter
4 teaspoons 20mlSnipped fresh basil
  = (or 1 1/2 tspns dried basil, crushed)
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlSnipped fresh oregano
  = (or 1/2 tspn dried oregano, crushed)
1 1/2 teaspoons 7.5mlSnipped fresh tarragon
  = (or 1/2 tspn dried tarragon, crushed)
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSnipped chives
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSnipped fresh thyme
  = (or 1/4 tspn dried thyme, crushed)
1   Freshly-ground black pepper

Recipe Instructions

In a small saucepan melt butter. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook 1 to 2 minutes to blend flavors. Serve with grilled fish or vegetables.

This recipe yields sauce for 8 servings.
