Rich Davis' Rub Recipe - Cooking Index
I have rubbed ribs, shoulders and venison with this rub and love it. I do not baste or use sauce, just wrap them in foil an hour or so before they are done.
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Granulated brown sugar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Coarsely-ground black pepper |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Paprika |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Chili powder |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar - (packed) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Granulated garlic powder |
Mix ingredients well.
This recipe yields about 2 3/8 cups.
