Mad Dog's Rib Rub Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Paprika |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Ground sweet red pepper |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Granulated sugar |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Brown sugar - (packed) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Garlic powder |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Freshly-ground white pepper |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cayenne pepper |
Combine all the ingredients in a covered bowl and mix well.
Use about 2 tablespoons of rub for each side of a rib slab. Rub the slab generously with white vinegar before adding rub. It kicks in the rub.
