Barbecue Sauce With Beer Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter - (1 stick) |
1 | Onion - finely chopped | |
1 | Garlic clove - finely chopped | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Vinegar |
1 cup | 237ml | Heinz chili sauce |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire Sauce |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Mustard |
Juice of 1/2 lemon | ||
1 | Beer - cooks choice | |
Freshly-ground black pepper, to taste |
In a large saucepan, saute onion and garlic in butter. When the onions are transparent add the remainder of ingredients. Bring to a boil. Simmer until your grill is ready, about 10 to 15 minutes or until you can't stand the wonderful smell of the sauce any longer.
