Spicy Grilled Mushrooms Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Apple cider vinegar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Soy sauce |
1 | Good Seasons Oriental Sesame | |
Salad Dressing Mix | ||
1/2 cup | 118ml | Oil |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Hot pepper sauce - (to 2) |
2 | Garlic cloves - minced | |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Fresh shitake or button mushrooms - stems removed |
Mix vinegar, soy sauce, salad dressing mix, oil, hot pepper sauce and garlic in cruet or small bowl as directed on envelope. Pour over mushrooms in large bowl. Let stand 30 minutes to marinate. Drain, reserving dressing mixture.
Place mushrooms on greased grill over medium coals or on rack of broiler pan 3 to 5 inches from heat. Grill or broil mushrooms 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until tender and slightly crisp, turning and brushing frequently with reserved dressing mixture.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
