Bacon Onion Pinwheels Recipe - Cooking Index
10 | Oscar Mayer Center Cut Bacon - crisply cooked, and crumbled | |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Finely-chopped onion |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter or margarine - (1/2 stick) - softened |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped fresh parsley |
2 | Refrigerated crescent dinner rolls - (8 oz ea) |
Mix all ingredients except crescent rolls. Unroll crescent rolls and separate into 8 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Spread bacon mixture evenly on each rectangle. Roll up each rectangle starting from short side. Cut each roll into 4 slices.
Place pinwheels on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Great Substitute: Substitute Louis Rich Turkey Bacon for Oscar Mayer Bacon.
