Chinese Broccoli With Imperial Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
This makes a great side dish for any meal.
Type: Vegetables1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Chinese broccoli or broccoli - chopped, trimmed, |
And cut bite-sized florets | ||
= (or bok choy, chopped) | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Hoisin sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soy sauce |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sesame oil |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sugar |
Steam broccoli or bok choy until crisp-tender, about 3 minutes; transfer to large serving bowl.
Combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oil and sugar in a small saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat. Pour over broccoli, toss until well-coated and serve.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
