1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cooking oil |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Salt |
Dressing | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Rice vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Plum sauce |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Soy sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sesame oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Mustard powder |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Diamond Sesame Glazed Walnuts |
Trim asparagus; cut spears diagonally into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
In a pan, heat 2 inches of water to boiling. Add oil, salt, and asparagus; cook until tender-crisp, 1 to 2 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water, and drain again. Pat dry with paper towels. Chill until ready to serve.
Combine dressing ingredients in a bowl. Just before serving, pour dressing over asparagus, sprinkle with Diamond Sesame Glazed Walnuts and toss lightly to mix.
