3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Fat-free bear roast - (to 4 lbs) - marinated |
(perhaps in Cooked Marinade) - see * Note | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Honey |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cinnamon |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground ginger |
2 cups | 474ml | Strained marinade |
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Butter |
* Note: See the "Cooked Marinade" recipe which is included in this collection.
Wipe the meat dry and rub with mixture of honey, cinnamon, garlic juice, and ginger. Put in a roaster on a rack and dot with butter and baste with marinade every 30 minutes. Roast at 325 degrees for 3 hours. If in a self-basting roaster, uncover for the last 30 minutes.
This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
