Bayou Roasted Nutria Recipe - Cooking Index
| Nutria | ||
| Onions - sliced | ||
| Cooking oil | ||
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
| Cayenne pepper - to taste | ||
| Freshly-chopped parsley | 
Boil nutria in water for 15 minutes. Meanwhile fry desired amount of sliced onions in oil in a Dutch oven. Add nutria, cut into serving pieces or whole, and cook slowly, brushing from time to time with oil seasoned with salt, pepper, cayenne, and parsley.
Nutria can be cooked by muskrat recipes.
