Basic Red-Wine Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 | Red wine - (Burgundy or Bordeaux) - to 4/5 quart | |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Red wine vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil |
1 | Bay leaf | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried rosemary |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried marjoram |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Black peppercorns - whole |
1 | Onion - sliced |
Combine all ingredients.
