Allegheny Squirrel Pie

Recipe Ingredients

1   Squirrel - cut 2 or 3 pieces
3 tablespoons 45mlFlour
1/2 tablespoon 7.5mlMinced parsley
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlFreshly-ground black pepper
1/2 cup 118mlSliced mushrooms
2 cups 474mlStock or milk
  Prepared biscuit mix

Recipe Instructions

Cover meat with water and cook for 1 hour. Remove and bone. Add flour, parsley, salt, pepper, and mushrooms to stock. Cook to thicken, 5 to 10 minutes. Add meat and pour into 2-quart baking dish. Top with biscuit mix topping. Bake at 350 degrees until golden, 30 to 40 minutes.
