Warm Haricots Verts Relish Recipe - Cooking Index
6 oz | 170g | Bacon - chopped |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Julienned red onions |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Haricots verts - blanched |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped garlic |
In a large saute pan, over medium heat, render the bacon until crispy. Pour off half of the grease. Add the onions and saute for 2 minutes. Add the haricots verts. Season with salt and pepper. Saute for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and continue to cook for 1 minute. Remove from the heat.
This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
