6 cups | 1422ml | Navel oranges (large) |
Sugar - to taste | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon peel - grated |
6 tablespoons | 90ml | Marsala wine - (sweet) |
Peel the oranges carefully and slice thin, reserving the juice.
Place the slices and juice on a large, shallow platter and sprinkle with sugar, lemon peel and marsala. Toss very gently, cover, and chill for a few hours before serving.
