| 2 | Thinly-sliced medium onions - (abt 2 cups) | |
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Mayonnaise | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Celery seed | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | White vinegar | 
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar | 
| 1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Diced red bell pepper | 
| 1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped parsley | 
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Tabasco sauce | 
Combine all and mix well. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
