Onion Marmalade I Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Julienned yellow onions |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Minced garlic |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Finely-chopped parsley |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Rice wine vinegar |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
In a saute pan, over high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the onions and saute until caramelized, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add the garlic, parsley, and rice wine vinegar. Saute for 1 to 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
This recipe yields about 1 cup of marmalade.
