Alfredo Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Nonfat cottage cheese |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Grated parmesan cheese |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | butter-flavored granules |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Evaporated skimmed milk |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chicken-flavored bouillon granules |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried basil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground black pepper |
1 pinch | ground red pepper |
Combine all ingredients in container of an electric blender; process until smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides.
Pour into a small saucepan; cook sauce over low heat, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated.
I used 2 Tbsp margarine instead since we don't have butter-flavored granules.
