Wild Rice Pilaf

Recipe Ingredients

2 oz 56gButter
1/2 oz 14gOnion - chopped (medium)
3   Celery stalks - diced
1/3 cup 36g / 1.3ozDiced carrot
1/2 cup 46g / 1.6ozSlivered almonds
1/2 cup 80g / 2.8ozWild rice
1/2 cup 80g / 2.8ozBrown rice
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozChopped fresh mushrooms
1 1/2 cups 355mlBeef broth

Recipe Instructions

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat and saute onion, celery, carrots, and almonds for two to three minutes. Add rice and mushrooms and saute for four additional minutes. Add broth, cover, and transfer to a preheated 350 degree oven for one hour.

Serves 4.
