Recipe Ingredients

1/2 lb 227g / 8ozWhite cabbage - shredded
1/2 lb 227g / 8ozRed cabbage - shredded
1/2 lb 227g / 8ozSpinach - shredded
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozJulienned red onions
2/3 cup 41g / 1.4ozChopped green onions
1 teaspoon 5mlMinced garlic
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozFinely-chopped parsley
1 cup 237mlHomemade mayonnaise
1/4 cup 59mlCreole mustard
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlFreshly-ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlCayenne pepper
2 teaspoons 10mlHoney

Recipe Instructions

In a mixing bowl, toss the cabbages, spinach, red onion, green onions, garlic, and parsley. Stir in the mayonnaise and Creole mustard. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne and honey. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

This recipe yields 8 cups of slaw for 6 to 8 servings.
