Lemon Butter Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | White wine |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped shallots |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Heavy cream |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter - cubed |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Reduce the wine and lemon juice with the shallots for 2 minutes. Add the cream and reduce for 2 minutes. Using a whisk, slowly incorporate the butter. Season to taste.
