Hot Rice Wine And Sesame Dipping Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sesame seeds - toasted |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Chicken stock |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Rice wine vinegar |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Sesame oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Soy sauce |
8 | Turns Freshly-ground black pepper |
In a saucepan add the sesame seeds, salt, stock, vinegar, oil, honey and soy sauce and whisk over high heat until the mixture comes to a full boil. Turn the heat down to medium, add the black pepper and cook, whisking, for 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
This recipe yields 2/3 cup of sauce.
