Homemade Farmer's Cheese Recipe - Cooking Index
This is similar to Boursin brand of cheese available in stores.
Type: Cheese1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Cream cheese - (12 oz) |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced garlic |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped basil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped chervil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped parsley |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground white pepper - to taste |
In a food processor, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Spoon the cheese onto plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to allow the flavors to marry.
This recipe yields 1 3/4 cups of cheese.
