Ginger Syrup Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Water |
1 oz | 28g | Ginger root stem - peeled, and rough chopped |
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes. Cool and use the syrup to moisten cakes, sweeten tea, or over your ice cream.
