Creamy Grits

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups 474mlMilk
2 tablespoons 30mlButter
1 teaspoon 5mlMinced garlic
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste
1/2 cup 118mlQuick grits
3 oz 85gGrated white cheddar cheese

Recipe Instructions

In a sauce pan, combine the milk, butter, and garlic together. Season the liquid with salt and cayenne pepper. Bring the liquid up to a boil. Whisk in the grits and cook for about 8 minutes, or until the grits are tender. Stir in the cheese. Serve.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
