Warmed Cranberry Brie Recipe - Cooking Index
1/3 cup | 78ml | Crushed cranberry sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Rum extract |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Ground nutmeg |
8 oz | 227g | Brie cheese - (1 round) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped pecans |
Combine the cranberry sauce, brown sugar, rum extract, and nutmeg in a bowl; mix well.
Peel off the top of the Brie cheese round, leaving 1/4-inch rim. Top the Brie cheese with the cranberry mixture. Sprinkle with the chopped pecans.
Bake at 500 degrees for 4 to 5 minutes. Serve with crackers or sliced green apples.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
Variation: Substitute orange extract for the rum extract.
