Broccoli Burgers Recipe - Cooking Index
Everyone loves hamburgers! These child-sized burgers laced with broccoli are good served on miniature whole-grain rolls.
Type: Meat1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Ground round steak |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Finely chopped, cooked broccoli |
(or other vegetable) | ||
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried thyme |
2 | Thin slices cheese | |
(Swiss, Cheddar, or other favorite) |
Preheat grill or broiler on high heat.
In a small bowl, combine beef, broccoli, and thyme.
Form beef mixture into 2 small patties.
Cook until desired doneness.
Place cheese on top of meat patties just before done. Cook for 30 seconds more, or until cheese melts. This recipe yields 2 mini burgers.
