Banana Drink Recipe - Cooking Index
If your kid prefers chocolate milk to plain milk, offer this drink as an alternative. The banana makes the milk taste sweet and thick without that bad, bad chocolate.
Serves: 1 people3/4 cup | 177ml | Milk |
1/2 | Ripe banana | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Vanilla |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon |
1 | Ice cube |
Put all the ingredients in the blender and mix until the drink is nice and smooth. Pour immediately into a prefrozen thermos.
Variation: St. Patrick's Day Surprise!:
Schoolyard legend has it that you have to wear green on St. Patrick's Day. Why not add something green to your child's lunch? To be fair, you should give him/her some kind of advance warning, if only by putting a shamrock sticker on the top of the thermos.
1 cup Banana Drink A few drops green food color Just mix the food color until the drink turns a lovely green!
