White Chocolate Brownies Recipe - Cooking Index
3 oz | 85g | White chocolate - chopped |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Unsalted butter |
1/2 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Toasted almonds - ground |
1 3/4 cups | 109g / 3.8oz | Flour |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking powder |
3 | Eggs | |
1 1/4 cups | 247g / 8.7oz | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
In the top of a double boiler set over simmering water, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring occasionally. Cool.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Mix together flour and baking powder. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla. Stir in the chocolate mixture, the flour mixture, and the almonds and pour the batter into a greased 8-inch square baking pan.
Bake for 50-55 minutes.
