Vanilla Pudding Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/4 cups | 137g / 4.8oz | Pudding mix |
2 1/2 cups | 592ml | Milk or water |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
1 | Egg, slightly beaten | |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Vanilla |
Combine pudding mix and milk in heavy 2 quart saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add butter and remove from heat. Stir some of hot mixture into egg.
Blend egg into pudding, cook 1 minute.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Pour into dessert glasses. Serve warm or chilled.
