Upside Down Apple Gingerbread Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 cups | 297g / 10oz | Margarine - melted |
2 cups | 474ml | Apples - sliced (large) |
1 1/3 cups | 263g / 9.3oz | Sugar |
1 1/4 cups | 247g / 8.7oz | Margarine |
1 1/4 cups | 247g / 8.7oz | Sugar |
1 | Egg | |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Flour |
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Molasses |
1 1/3 cups | 213g / 7.5oz | Brown sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Soda |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ginger |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cloves |
1 1/4 teaspoons | 6.3ml | Salt |
3 1/2 cups | 829ml | Hot tea |
Pour melted margarine into a 9" dish and place apples in dish, sprinkle with brown sugar. Mix other ingredients together and pour over apples.
Bake at 350F about 45 minutes. Cool in pan 4 or 5 minutes., invert onto serving plate.
