Strawberry Squares - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Flour |
| 1 | Frozen strawberries - partially thawed | |
| 1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Brown sugar |
| 1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Chopped nuts |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter - melted |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Cool whip |
| 2 | Egg whites | |
| 2/3 cup | 131g / 4.6oz | Sugar |
Combine flour ingredients in shallow baking dish. Bake 20 minutes at 350 , stirring occasionally. Pat 2/3 of nut mixture into 11" x 7" x 2" pan. Reserve rest for topping. Combine beaten egg whites, sugar, strawberries and lemon juice.
Fold cool whip into strawberry mixture. Spoon over nut mixture in pan and top with reserved mixture. Freeze until firm.
