Strawberry Squares - 2

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup	62g / 2.2oz	Flour
1		Frozen strawberries - partially thawed
1/4 cup	40g / 1.4oz	Brown sugar
1/2 cup	73g / 2.6oz	Chopped nuts
2 tablespoons	30ml	Lemon juice
1/2 cup	99g / 3.5oz	Butter - melted
1 cup	237ml	Cool whip
2		Egg whites
2/3 cup	131g / 4.6oz	Sugar

Recipe Instructions

Combine flour ingredients in shallow baking dish. Bake 20 minutes at 350 , stirring occasionally. Pat 2/3 of nut mixture into 11" x 7" x 2" pan. Reserve rest for topping. Combine beaten egg whites, sugar, strawberries and lemon juice.

Fold cool whip into strawberry mixture. Spoon over nut mixture in pan and top with reserved mixture. Freeze until firm.
